Christmas Fun

We had a great Christmas this year. Dawson was so much fun and getting really into Santa and all the things that Santa brings. He got a huge play structure for the back yard that is now in the living room for him to enjoy. He also got a really nice table and chair set from his Godparents, Auntie Jenn and Uncle Isaac that he loves to sit at. Daddy surprised him with an oversized Mickey Mouse and he got sister Reece the matching Minnie. Dawson enjoyed playing with them a lot. He also ended up with a new tricylce, a lap top, a digital camera and a talking broom from his great family! Thank you everyone for a great Christmas.

Trying out the new Tricylce, still a little too little for it

Opening presents took Dawson a really long time, each piece of paper had to come off first.

As Bryan and I were cleaning up the paper mess, Dawson decided he needed to sit with Mickey and Minnie Mouse all by himself.

It's a girl!

We found out the day before Thanksgiving that we are going to be bringing home a sweet baby girl in April. Dawson is super excited. We have decided to name her Reece Olivia. Everything is going well so far and we are right on track for our scheduled delivery on April 4th.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the Fort Vannoy Pumpkin Patch. It changed a little from last year but was still quite fun. Dawson loved the tractor rides and getting to run through the pumpkins. We got him a new pair of rain boots that he loves to wear and insisted on wearing there as well. We finally picked out a couple pumpkins and then watched the workers do some pumpkin launching. We then looked at the Alpacas and took a couple pictures and then came home. Dawson loved the trip.

It is official!

We have had 2 ultrasounds since we last wrote. Everything is looking great. We can't seem to confirm a due date, they keep changing it everytime we go in to the doctor's. Sometime at the end of March or early April. We should be scheduling our c-section this week and that shold nail down our time frame. As far as everything else, Michelle has still been pretty sick every day. We are already 16 weeks along, but the nausea hasn't let down. It seems that the baby really loves spicy things!

Dawson is doing great. His vocabulary is really growing. He loves to say "Daddy, let's go!" We are having so much fun with him. He cracks us up daily! We are back at swimming lessons at an indoor pool which is so nice. We spend lots of time with his friend Ava. There isn't much else left to report on, so until next time...

We are back on!

It has been awhile since we posted anything on here, Christmas in fact, but we are back. I actually couldn't remember the password but have figured it out and can start filling everyone in on our lives again!
We had a great summer this year with Dawson. He was so much fun to play with. We did swimming lessons and went to the Portland zoo. We spent a lot of time taking walks and playing outside with his toys. He loves to be outside!
School just started back so we are all back on our regular schedules. Dawson is back with Misty and Margee for daycare and we love that. He is making art projects and loving playing with the kids. I have a pretty good class of kids and am excited to see where we will go together.

Bryan and I decided that it was time to start trying for a sibling for our little guy but lo and behold, someone had thought that through already for us because we were already pregnant when we made that decision! Things happen for mysterious reasons! We are due at the end of March-begining of April. I have been super naseaus with this little one unlike when I was pregnant with Dawson. We are both a little nervous how we could possibly love another being as much as we love our little guy, but know that that will change!

The Holidays

Wow Thanksgiving and Christmas has passed by so quickly and today is New Year's Eve. I can't beleive how fast this year has gone! To fill you in quickly, we took a trip to Santa Clara for Thanksgiving to see Bryan's grandma, spent Christmas morning here at the house and then flew to Sandpoint, Idaho to see Bryan's mom for Christmas. In that time Dawson learned how to walk, throw and got 2 more teeth. He did amazing on the airplane and in houses that he had never been before. He is getting such a great personality and loves to smile. We will be sadly saying goodbye to Dawson's godparents, Jenn and Isaac as they travel back to Boston to live for a year or so. We will really miss them! Here are some of the pictures from Thanksgiving as well as Christmas (backwards from most recent to Thanksgiving):
