Guess what.... we are expecting a bundle of joy!

6 weeks along

We found out that we are pregnant! at the moment I am about 8 weeks along and due in late January or early February. We had our first dr. appointment but the ultrasound machine was broken so we we have to go back on Monday for a real picture. We did get to see the heart beat though, for just a split second. We went to a good friends wedding reception. Joe Birkmeyer used to go to high school with Bryan and then I went to college with him at Western. He got married in North Carolina where he lives but had a reception out for us to meet his beautiful bride.

We have been working on our front yard for a little while now on the weekends. We have a great vision, but it sure takes longer than you think it will. Our plan was to rip out the old crab grass, put in a sprinkler system, add sod and a white picket fence, paint the house and rock the pillars. All by the end of August. We'll see how far we get... but here are some pictures of the process.
